Choice Football Club
was founded in the Stables Bar, Kirkintilloch,
Glasgow; in the summer of 1987 by Steven Rankin,
Gordon Dow and Christopher Sime (now retired through
injury).
Originally an eleven-a-side team we played our
inaugural season in the Paisley and District League,
finishing fourth.
The
team then spent nine years in footballing
wilderness, playing a series of meaningless
friendlies before transforming into a 5-a-side team
and joining the Leisuredrome league in 1996 and
finally moving onto the Goals, Shawlands league in
1998 where we still play today.
